Balsall Common marshalled at ‘Mad Hatters’ at The Mad Hatters Tea Party

Balsall Common Lions helped out as Marshalls with other ‘Mad Hatters’ at The Mad Hatters Tea Party (Children’s Charity). The Charity aims to give sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the Midlands exciting days out to remember. This time around 270 children from 20 Schools, together with their Teachers, Carers and helpers went to see Father Christmas in his grotto at Dudley Zoo and Castle. The children all received a gift from Santa, and were then entertained with a show from Flip The Clown. They then had lunch before they all went home very happy.

Another well organised day by Liz and her team, which was enjoyed by everyone, in spite of the dismal weather
