Cynthia Lines, who lives at 60 Princess Road has been tending her lovely plot packed with exotic blooms and bushes for many years and has now been awarded the ultimate accolade.
Her hidden gardening gem in the heart of Hinckley will be unveiled to the general public one day next month.
She is one of only two gardens in the area to have been selected as part of the National Garden Scheme, where people open their gardens for charity.
As well as being able to discover the garden, there will be plants for sale as well as cream teas to savour.
Cynthia said: I love my garden and felt it would be lovely to share it with others as well as helping charity. And the proceeds from the afternoon teas and plant sale will go to our club, while the entrance fee is for the NGS charity scheme’
The open garden takes place on Sunday, June 12 from 11-5pm and entrance fee will be £2 with accompanied children being admitted for free.
