The Corby and District Lions Funday on Sunday 11th June raised over £1900!  The events at East Carlton park was blessed with very good weather and were attended by an estimated number of 2000 people. A Lions spokesperson said, ‘This was the fourth time we have held this event and it has been the most successful so far. As previously, we held it with the support of Market Harborough 2012 Lions Club and Corby Borough Council.  We wanted to support Help for Heroes charity and local charities – and with the support of local people we have achieved this.’

There were over a dozen classic cars, 6 fairground rides for young children, a dog show, three dance displays, archery, a ukele band as well as many craft and charity stalls.  Our photo shows some of the Corby Lions with the Grand Draw Raffle prizes
