Godiva Lions Sponsored Charity Walk

Over 70 people accompanying club members, families, friends and well-wishers enjoyed the breathtaking walk though the lush green forest and woodlands surrounding the beautiful Merevale Estate on a bright sunny Sunday morning. The 5km sponsored walk around the estate in the heart of Warwickshire countryside raised £1,600 towards the Club’s charitable activities. After the walk, the group was treated to a delicious buffet lunch courtesy of Lion President Kulwinder and her family, supported by “Action Bladder Cancer UK”, the main charity chosen by the President in her year.
